Premier League predictions: Liverpool and Manchester United share spoils, Manchester City sweep aside Newcastle

We pick out the winners and losers from the latest round of English top-flight fixture

The end is nigh for the current Premier League campaign and there are only a couple of battles left to fight.

Manchester City have the title safely in the bag while the relegation slots have also been decided with three games left to play, leaving Sheffield United, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham facing second-tier football next season.

Still to be decided, though, are who will go on to play Champions League and Europa League football.

Merseyside pair Everton and Liverpool still have eyes on European places and they take on Aston Villa and Manchester United, respectively, on Thursday.

Manchester City face Newcastle at St James' Park on Friday in what is Pep Guardiola's side's first game since becoming champions.

On Saturday, Burnley entertain Leeds, Southampton play host to Fulham and Brighton play West Ham on the south coast.

Sunday sees Crystal Palace against Aston Villa and Spurs versus Wolves in London, West Brom take on Liverpool at the Hawthorns and Everton face Sheffield United on Merseyside.
