The Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE, Tamer Mansour, met with a group of Egyptian detainees for the second time this year, reported the state news agency Wam.
The ambassador first met the group, who are involved in a security case, in March.
Mr Mansour used the meeting to ensure the group had adequate accommodation and health care.
The ambassador also met with UAE officials from the office of the Attorney General, who said the investigation was almost complete, after which time the men would be referred to court.
