Aquaventure at Atlantis, The Palm has been voted as the best water park in the Middle East.
The 17-hectare beachfront attraction was also voted the as the fifth best in the world, according to TripAdvisor.
The travel site said the accolade is based on millions of traveller reviews.
The park features a number of renowned attractions, including 11 waterslides that contain 18 million litres of fresh water.
“We are thrilled that this excellent ranking by Trip Advisor endorses Aquaventure’s global standing, especially as it comes from thousands of happy guests that have passed through our door,” said Scott Deisley, vice president of operations at Aquaventure.
The park, which opened in 2008, recently invested nearly Dh100 million in new attractions.
