Israelis are getting ready to head to the polls in less than two weeks. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces stiff competition. The man who has dominated Israeli politics for more than a decade has been marred by allegations of corruption.

He faces the inexperienced but popular Benjamin "Benny" Gantz. The retired general is hoping to woo some of the Israeli left and unseat Mr Netanyahu. Tim Marshall looks at the two main candidates and their differences.
