Student honoured by Abu Dhabi Police for his honesty

The 16-year-old handed a wallet he found in the back of a taxi to police.

Abu Dhabi Police have honoured an Italian student for showing honesty by turning in a wallet he had found in a taxi.

Andrea, a Grade 8 student at Lycce Louis Massignon School, found a tourist’s wallet, which contained cash, identity and bank cards and turned it into the Tourism Police.

Col Dr Rashid Bourshid, director of CID at Abu Dhabi Police, presented the 16-year-old with a certificate of appreciation and a symbolic gift for his honesty.
