UAE weather: police reduce speed limits as fog descends
The fog will clear to leave a partly sunny day, with a rise in temperatures

Police reduced speed limits in Abu Dhabi as thick fog descended on parts of the emirate overnight.
Dense conditions stretched from the capital on the coast, deep inland and north towards Dubai.
Drivers were warned not to exceed 80kph on major roads as visibility dropped below 1,000m.

The fog is expected to lift by 9am leaving a fair and partly cloudy day, which will be accompanied by an increase in temperatures.
Winds will be light to moderate.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Gulf of Oman.
It will feel humid by night and into Thursday morning with fog and mist forming.
