The final episode of South Korean drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay hit screens in its home country last week, but now fans in the UAE can stream all 16 episodes of the show on Netflix.
The series, which stars Kim Soo-hyun and Seo Ye-ji, was to have had its premiere exclusively on Netflix on June 20 - when it first aired on South Korean television - but didn’t seem to make its way to the streaming service’s Mena platform.
But the K-drama wrapped up its last episode on Sunday and is now available in the region. The episodes are all about an hour long.
The drama follows an unusual romance between an antisocial children’s book writer named Go Moon-young and a psychiatric ward caretaker called Moon Gang-tae who end up healing each other’s emotional and psychological wounds.
On Google, almost 14,000 users have reviewed or rated the show, with the audience rating summary currently 5.0 out of 5.0. When it was running in South Korea, the show had steady ratings, with a spike in viewership for the last two episodes.
While we don’t want to spoil too much, fans who have already seen the series have raved about it, especially the show’s take on mental health.
