DUBAI // Fifty orphans from the Human Appeal International - Ajman have been honoured by Dubai Taxi Corporation as part of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
“Orphans have always been part of the core attention of our leadership, who believe that the welfare of orphans stems from the right of humans to live, thus they have to be empowered to take a sizable share of decent life,” said Dr Yousef Al Ali, the chief executive of the corporation.
“Such attitudes also epitomise the spirit of fraternity, compassion and giving that characterise the UAE and involves bringing happiness to the hearts of orphans and other deprived community members.”
The event took place at the corporation’s head office in Al Muhaisnah.
