The scoreline remained unchanged until the 60th minute when City turned on the afterburners against United's 10 men after Jonny Evans was sent off. The two had serious beef going into the match and Keane would later admit in his autobiography the tackle on the Norwegian had been deliberate. Although Haaland finished the match, the injury to his knee was so severe it would ultimately end his career. For the record, Teddy Sheringham and Steve Howey were the goalscorers that day. Allsport

Manchester City will look to reclaim top spot in the Premier League on Wednesday when they take on cross-town rivals United at Old Trafford.

City trail leaders Liverpool by two points with a game in hand, while United, who have lost six of their last eight games including Sunday's embarrassing 4-0 defeat at Everton, know anything less than three points will most likely see them miss out on a top-four finish and Champions League football.
