Centre-back: James Tomkins (Crystal Palace) – Helped blunt an in-form Leicester side and provided the basis for Palace to secure a win that elevated them from the relegation zone. Carl Recine / Reuters

Centre-back: Aaron Cresswell (West Ham) – Adapting superbly to his new role as a left-sided centre-back, he and the Hammers kept a third clean sheet in a row as Stoke were beaten. Andrew Yates / Reuters

Striker: Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace) – Ran Leicester ragged and took his goal well as Palace, who had not scored on the road all season, emerged 3-0 winners in a shock. Carl Recine / Reuters

Mohamed Salah makes this week's Premier League team, with the Egyptian striker scoring his 20th goal of the season.

Other household names in the side include Kevin de Bruyne, after another stellar week in a Manchester City shirt, and Philippe Coutinho, Salah's Brazilian teammate at Liverpool.

Several promising players, such as Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace and City's Ilkay Gundogan, also find spots in the XI.
