Almost four kilograms of cannabis was found in the back seat of a car belonging to a 21-year-old Arab expatriate arrested in Sharjah.

A joint task force of anti-narcotics officers from Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and the Federal Anti-Narcotic Department arrested the suspect, identified as MAS, in the Al Nahda area on May 22 for taking and dealing drugs.

Major General Abdul Jalil Mahdi, the deputy chairman of the Anti-Drugs Higher Committee, said Dubai Police were tipped off that the suspect was selling and taking narcotics.
