A swarm of 300 drones has been lighting up Dubai's sky.

To mark Dubai Shopping Festival, the lighting display has been wowing crowds every night.

The spectacular Dubai Shopping Festival Drone Light Show takes place every day at 7pm and 9:30pm at The Beach, set against the backdrop of Ain Dubai.

Each performance lasts just a few minutes and is free to watch.

The first display showcases just how much there is to do in Dubai, while the second traces the city's journey from pearl diving hub to global metropolis.

The drone displays can be enjoyed until January 30, when Dubai Shopping Festival ends.

The festival is now in its 26th year and kicked off with concerts by Arabic pop stars Hussain Al Jassmi and Tamer Hosny.
