UAE public holidays for 2021 and 2022 announced by Cabinet

The UAE Cabinet announced the dates of the country's national holidays for the public and private sectors for 2021 and 2022.

The next public holiday will be New Year's Day, followed by Eid Al Fitr, the festival that marks the end of Ramadan, in mid-May.

January 1: New Year's Day

May 11 to 15: Eid Al Fitr

July 19: Arafat Day

July 20, 21 and 22: Eid Al Adha

August 12: Islamic New Year

October 21: Prophet Mohammed’s birthday

December 1: Commemoration Day

December 2 and 3: UAE National Day

January 1: New Year

April 30 to May 4: Eid Al Fitr
