Director of Dubai Police Academy inspects military training camp

Col Al Shamsi greeted students and stressed the importance of engaging in military training sessions during the summer vacation, in view of their benefits to the mind and the body.

DUBAI // The director of Dubai Police Academy, Col Dr Mohammed Butti Al Shamsi, stressed the importance of military training sessions as he addressed students during an inspection at the military training programme for the student summer camp at the academy’s gymnasium.

Col Al Shamsi told students the sessions would benefit the mind and bodyand reflect positively on various aspects of students’ lives.

They foster values and ethics and teach discipline, independence and the respect of laws, and strengthen the sense of allegiance and belonging to the national identity, he said.
