      Alexander Christou

      Location
      Alexander is a Greek-American reporter on the UAE news desk. As a trainee in The National's 2025 graduate programme, he worked with the multimedia team to produce videos. Working in newsrooms around the globe, he was part of CNN Academy's 2023 cohort and wrote for the Buenos Aires Times in Argentina. He graduated from New York University Abu Dhabi with a bachelor's degree in social research and public policy, and minors in Arabic and creative writing.
