Richard Jolly selects his best XI following a round of fixtures that saw Liverpool extend their lead over Manchester City

Round 14 of the 2019/20 Premier League season was completed this weekend and it spelled more good news for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's men extended their lead over third-placed Manchester City to 11 points after the defending champions drew at Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon before Liverpool beat Brighton & Hove Albion.

Leicester City remained Liverpool's closest challengers with a come-from-behind win at home to Everton to keep the gap at eight points, while fourth-placed Chelsea suffered a shock defeat against West Ham United.

Tottenham Hotspur climbed to fifth with a second successive league win under new manager Jose Mourinho, but there was more frustration for Arsenal and Manchester United, with both clubs held to 2-2 draws by Norwich City and Aston Villa respectively.
