Visitors secure a thrilling 3-2 Premier League win at the London Stadium

WEST HAM RATINGS: Lukasz Fabianski 5 – Made some good saves but they weren’t enough to deny an excellent performance from Leeds’ attackers. His clearances often found the feet of a Leeds player, forcing West Ham onto the backfoot. AP

Vladimír Coufal 3 – Struggled to make an impact going forward and unfortunately faced an in-form Harrison who got the better of him at every opportunity. AP

Craig Dawson 4 – Headed a Cresswell corner wide when in the Leeds six-yard box, which would have proved a very important goal at a crucial stage of the game. Did well against a wasteful Dan James. AP

Issa Diop 4 – Carried the ball forward on multiple occasions but was sometimes guilty of hanging onto the ball for too long. Made few blocks or tackles, which marred his performance. PA

Aaron Cresswell 7 – All four of his corners found a teammate, with one ending up in the back of the net via Bowen. Was unfortunate not to get a second assist following Dawson’s close-range miss. AP

Manuel Lanzini 6 – Played a good pass to Rice just before half-time following a good run, but Rice wasted the shot. He was quiet in the second half, and picked up a yellow card for a foul on Raphinha. AP

Declan Rice 7 – Very good going forward, and his passing range was superb. One pass culminated in Fornals’ equaliser to make it 2-2. Wasted a shot by hitting it over the bar in the penalty area following a misplaced pass from Ayling. AFP

Jarrod Bowen 7 – Another goal from the man in form, as he headed home an Aaron Cresswell’s teasing corner. His crosses didn’t always find a teammate and his finishing could have been better, particularly at the death, when he had an excellent chance to level. AFP

Pablo Fornals 7 – Exciting on the ball and the scorer of West Ham’s second goal to equalise. He picked up the ball from a miscontrolled Antonio pass, dribbled into the Leeds area and tucked away a low shot. AFP

Nikola Vlasic 4 – Failed to make an impact in a game that was free-flowing. His crosses were easily dealt with by the Leeds defence, and he was subbed off for the more defensive Arthur Masuaku. Getty

Michail Antonio 6 – Slipped in the box early on which denied him getting on the end of Rice’s cross. In the second half, Rice again found him with an excellent forward pass which Antonio miscontrolled, but Fornals picked up the ball and tucked home. PA

SUBS: Arthur Masuaku (Vlasic 60) 4 –The defensive minded Masuaku replaced Vlasic and was guilty of holding onto the ball too long and trying to beat his man rather than pass. Reuters

Andriy Yarmolenko (Fornals 68) 4 – Brought on with 20 minutes to spare in the hope of grabbing West Ham a point. Had a close-range header disallowed for offside, and picked up a yellow fewer than 10 minutes after coming on.. Getty

Sonny Perkins (Issa Diop 87) N/A – The third teenage Premier League debutant to appear in the game had little time to make an impact in his three-minute cameo. Getty

LEEDS RATINGS: Illan Meslier 7 – Conceded two and was fortunate West Ham didn’t take their chances to make it more. Despite this, he still made some excellent saves, including a double effort in the 82nd minute to prevent an equaliser. AFP

Stuart Dallas 7 – Made life difficult for West Ham’s midfield. Hi passing was superb and he didn’t put a foot wrong in his defensive duties. AFP

Luke Ayling 6 – Played with great energy for the full 90 minutes. However, he was incredibly lucky after putting Bate under pressure with a poor pass, which gifted Rice with a goalscoring opportunity. PA

Pascal Struijk 6 – Conceded possession twice in dangerous areas and struggled when defending against set pieces. AFP

Junior Firpo 6 – Suffered an injury after 25 minutes which forced him off. Until then, he had played a key part of Leeds’ high-intensity tactics approach. AFP

Robin Koch 6 – Kept the in-form Antonio quiet despite the striker’s physical presence, but was disappointing when defending West Ham’s set pieces. Picked up a yellow for a foul on Antonio. Getty

Raphinha 9 – Looked dangerous every time he received the ball, West Ham’s defenders had no answer to his footwork, skill or pace. His passes and crosses in the final third were incredibly effective. Assisted Harrison’s third goal to seal the win. AFP

Mateusz Klich 7 – Had a goal disallowed but was solid throughout. PA

Adam Forshaw 6 – Assisted Leeds’ first goal with a simple pass to Harrison. He was forced to come off after 25 minutes with a hamstring injury, but prior to this had been instrumental in Leeds’ strong start to the game. AFP

Jack Harrison 10 – Scored the first Premier League hat-trick of his career. His first goal was a powerful first time strike in the penalty area, and his second bundled across the line. His third was the product of an impeccably weighted pass from Raphinha which he controlled delicately and floated past Fabianski at 60 minutes. PA

Dan James 4 – Disappointing performance. He had an excellent chance to score when 1one-on-one with Fabianski, however his shot was weak. Picked up a yellow late game. AP

Lewis Bate (Forshaw 22) 3 – Far from the Premier League debut the teenager would have dreamed of. Found himself on the receiving end of a poor pass from Ayling, which led to Rice seizing the ball. PA

Leo Hjelde (Firpo 23) 6 – Another Premier League debutant, but fared much better than his counterpart. Fitted in well and pulled off a few impressive passes, which were unfortunately wasted by his teammates. Getty

Rodrigo (Bate 65) 5 – Was brought on despite boasting the lead going into the final quarter of the game. Didn’t manage to make an impact despite a lot of time spent in and around the area. AP

West Ham United squandered a chance to cement fourth spot in the Premier League after a 3-2 defeat at home to Leeds United on Sunday, with Jack Harrison scoring a hat-trick for the visitors.

After three successive wins, West Ham had the chance to open up a five-point gap between themselves and fifth-placed Arsenal whose game at Tottenham Hotspur was postponed.

But Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds, missing seven players through injury or suspension, had other ideas.

Harrison opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a curled finish but Jarrod Bowen equalised with a header in the 34th minute – his fourth goal in his last three games.

Harrison touched in after good work by Luke Ayling three minutes later to give Leeds the halftime lead.

When Pablo Fornals levelled again with a precise finish seven minutes after the break it seemed West Ham would go and win but Leeds responded in magnificent fashion.

Harrison's deft finish after dazzling play by Raphinha restored their lead and Raphinha rattled the woodwork with a superb free kick before Leeds had an effort by Mateusz Klich ruled out for a harsh offside.

The win lifted Leeds to 15th, nine points above the relegation zone.
