Are you ready to be part of something huge? BodyPump 100 launches globally on Saturday, January 14, and we’ve rounded up which gyms in Abu Dhabi are offering their schedule for the programme.

BodyPump is a group fitness class created by Les Mills International. The first class started in December 1991 in Auckland, New Zealand. The programme consist of using barbells at a low weight for high repetition to sculpt, tone and strengthen the entire body. The class is 55 minutes long (although there are express formats) and uses 10 music tracks, including a warm-up and cooldown and focuses on specific muscle groups during each track.

Here is what some of the clubs in Abu Dhabi are offering for Saturday’s event:

Abu Dhabi Country Club: Free classes at 10.30am and 4.30 pm (open to non-members)

Primal Gym: Free classes at 6.15pm at Al Forsan International Sports Resort (includes the re-launches of GRIT and BodyAttack, open to non-members)

Fitness First: Free classes at 10.30am at Abu Dhabi Mall and 6.45pm at Dalma Mall (open to non-members)

Gold's Gym: Free class at 10.30am at Al Wahda Mall (open to non-members)
