A visit to Abu Dhabi will leave you with no end of Instagram-worthy moments. From the sun setting behind the glistening Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, to the stunning architecture of Louvre Abu Dhabi, your Instagram feed will be brightened by a visit to the capital.

And now Abu Dhabi can say it is officially home to the world's most Instagrammable hotel. Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara was voted the winner by 35,424 readers of Luxury Travel Advisor.

The five-star resort sits on the edge of the Empty Quarter – the world's largest sand desert, and is surrounded by dramatic dunes as far as the eye can see.

Pair this with the resort’s traditional Arabic design, open terrace dining areas and palm-covered pool, and it’s easy to see the Instagram potential this place holds.

A quick search of Instagram shows that those in the know have already been making the most of Qasr Al Sarab’s potential.
