Dubai’s newest hotel has opened in one of the city’s most popular resorts.
The design-centric JA Lake View Hotel is the third property at JA The Resort in Dubai’s Jebel Ali.
Guests checking into the new hotel are welcomed by the sight of an 800-year-old olive tree as they arrive at the 348-room property on the sprawling grounds of one of Dubai's oldest resorts.
The collection of hotels was named 'Dubai’s Most Sustainable Five-Star Resort' in June this year at the Dubai Sustainable Tourism Awards and JA Lake View Hotel is taking that title seriously.
As well as solar-powered panels and paperless check-in, the hotel has developed an innovative food waste programme. JA Hotels and Resorts have already banned plastic bottles across all their hotels.
Three outdoor swimming pools give guests plenty of choice when it comes to taking a dip and the Calm Spa is on site for those looking to unwind. Rooftop bar Bibe isn’t quite ready yet, but when it does open it promises awesome views over the one-million-square metre resort and the Arabian Gulf.
