Learn about the uses of the animals, including meat, milk, transportation, clothing from skins, and tent- and rug-making from wool. The programme is presented by Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and aims to preserve customs for future generations.

Film screenings
Catch two screenings today as part of the Cinema Space series. Watch a restored version of the Stephen Spielberg film Raiders of the Lost Ark, which stars Harrison Ford as Dr Indiana Jones, who is tasked with finding the Ark of the Covenant. Then see 35 Rhums, a 2008 French film by Claire Denis about a widower, Lionel, who has raised his daughter Josephine, who is now of college-age, prompting him to realise that it may now be time they both found their independence. The film has English subtitles.

Exhibition
Two exhibitions display art treasures at Louvre Abu Dhabi. From One Louvre to Another tells the story of the origins of the Musée du Louvre, from the collections of Louis XIV at Versailles to the museum's opening following the French Revolution, with 150 masterpieces on display. Co-Lab: Contemporary Art and Savoir-faire features contemporary four works of art created by UAE-based artists, in collaboration with French manufacturers.

The Sharjah World Music Festival opens tomorrow at Flag Island Amphitheatre with Andalusian Night featuring flamenco guitarist Vicente Amigo. Performances continue on Sunday, Thursday and next Friday, showcasing sounds from around the world. Abdallah Al Rowaished and Balqees perform next Friday at Al Majaz Amphitheatre.
