Lotus has opened a new boutique showroom in Abu Dhabi, its first in the UAE's capital, in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak.
The Minister of Tolerance turned up for the snazzy ceremony, which featured a display of some of the famous car marque's most exotic models, including a limited-edition 3-Eleven 430 in black and gold livery, which is one of only 20 produced worldwide.
Attendees also got to see a special, opening-ceremony-only exhibit showcasing the history of Lotus in Formula 1, an area which will be used as a space for local artists to display their works in the future.
Customers will be able to get their cars serviced at the new, state-of-the-art facility, with transport facilities for vehicles being laid on, should owners require them.
The Adamas Motors showroom, which is based in Khalidya, will house eight models for potential customers, as well as passersby just interested in seeing some automotive splendour.
