But, in Hollywood, the night is still young. There are many after parties for the Academy Awards, but one of the most glamorous is Vanity Fair's bash.

As soon as the main event is over, many of the attendees, as well as other A-list guests, flock straight to the Wallis Annenberg Centre for the Performing Arts for the party, which is now in its 27th year.

Kim Kardashian stole the night by going vintage (a sustainable move), and wearing a gorgeous cream Alexander McQueen, while her sister Kylie Jenner wore Ralph and Russo.

Camila Mendes managed to look artfully costumey in a bold look by Moschino, which we applaud for its individuality.

Freida Pinto donned dark green velvet by Galia Lahav, Chrissy Teigen looked striking in aqua Georges Hobeika, while Kerry Washington was incredibly chic in Zuhair Murad's latest collection.
