Jason Derulo will play a free gig at Global Village next month

Jason Derulo seems to love the UAE almost as much as Will Smith does - he's always visiting. He supported Alicia Keys here in 2013, returned for Dubai Music Week in 2015, and has also played many club gigs here throughout the years (from Base to Mad on Yas Island).

And on his next visit, he'll perform a free gig at Global Village - all you'll have to pay is the Dh15 it costs to enter the food, music and theme park. The gig is on Thursday December 13 from 9pm to 11pm.

You can expect a tightly-choreographed performance: Derulo can dance, very well. Also expect crowds - Global Village gets busy on a weekend as is, and so we anticipate it will get very busy, being a free concert and all.

We imagine he'll perform his latest single - a David Guetta and Nicki Minaj collab' that sees him re-do an Andrea Bocelli classic, but with a major twist:

And here's another of his tunes we hope to hear - it typifies his toe-tapping, pure pop, catchy style:

Other big concerts lined up for Global Village are Lebanese singer Assi El Hallani on December 7 and Emirati artist Hamad Salem Al Ameri on December 2:
