UAE weather: Slightly cooler for new working week

Daytime temperatures to fall below 40C, with coolest weather on the east coast

It will be a hot and hazy start to the new working week, with temperatures dropping slightly to below 40C.  

Freshening winds will keep temperatures below 40C for much of the UAE on Saturday with Fujairah likely to enjoy the coolest weather.

The mercury will reach 35C on the east coast, where there is a slight chance of cloud turning into light rain into the afternoon.

Temperatures on the west coast will drop from a high of 38C in Abu Dhabi on Saturday to about 36C in Dubai and the capital on Sunday, although it will remain hazy with increasing humidity overnight.

Mist patches could form leading to reduced visibility in places early on Sunday before another hot, dry day across the country.
