UAE weather: Respite from cooler temperatures set to end

It may only have been 3 to 5 degrees cooler of late, but that brief respite from temperatures above 40°C is set to end tomorrow.

Highs of 38°C will continue for Abu Dhabi and Dubai on Tuesday where it will be a day with patchy cloud and plenty of sun.

Central areas around Al Dhaid and Sharjah could even catch a heavy rain shower, and the east coast will feel cooler still at 35°C.

It will be generally hazy, with light to moderate northwest winds reaching 23 km per hour, and 50 per cent humidity.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning over coastal and some internal areas, with probable fog formation.

The temperature will rise to about 42°C on Wednesday and continue to rise further through the week.
