Heavy rain was reported across parts of the UAE on Monday, causing flash-flooding in some of the northern emirates.
Videos of rivers flowing along mountainsides in Wadi Al Helo in Sharjah and Wadi Mai, Al Hayl and Asfi in Fujairah, were tweeted by the National Centre of Meteorology along with warnings to residents of the areas.

The bureau cautioned against driving in areas prone to flash-flooding lest motorists be swept up by the water.
Forecasters also predicted more rain throughout the evening with reduced visibility in the northern emirates.
Heavy cloud is expected to form over the eastern and southern areas of the country on Tuesday.
Temperatures will cool slightly with a range of 22°C to 37°C expected along the coast, 20°C to 40°C inland and 18°C to 32°C in the mountains.
