Six distinctive Z licence plates will be up for auction to celebrate Sheikh Zayed's life and drive up support for charity.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority will donate proceeds from the sales - all of them with a connection to the late ruler's life - to good causes in the UAE.
The exclusive batch are part of a collection of 80 licence plates that will go under the hammer at a Year of Zayed open auction to be held at Hilton Al Habtoor City in Dubai on November 17.
The auction is part of efforts to commemorate the legacy of the country's Founding Father during the Year of Zayed, which marks his birth centenary.
Potential bidders are required to have a traffic file in Dubai and must deposit a Dh25,000 cheque as security, which can be redeemed if no successful bids are made. Deposits can also be paid by credit card.

A fee of Dh120 must be paid as a subscription fee.
There is no limit on the number of plates you can buy.
To register for the auction, visit www.rta.ae, or the authority's customer service centres at Umm Al Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and Al Tawar Municipal Centre.
Registration for the auction can be made on the day, from 2pm to 4.30pm.
"Open auctions are quite popular as they offer direct competitive bidding in an action-packed and transparent atmosphere," said an RTA spokesman.
A life in numbers (and letters):
Z1918: The plate is a symbolic reference to Sheikh Zayed's birth year.
Z1946: The number refers to the year Sheikh Zayed took the reins of power at Al Ain city. The city had suffered from water scarcity before he transformed it into an oasis.
Z1968 and Z68: These bear reference to the Al Sameeh meeting, the first between Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, then Ruler of Dubai, to unify the Emirates on the Gulf coast and establish a powerful state.
Z1971: The year the UAE was formed.
Z2018: This number marks the Year of Zayed celebrations.

Pox that threatens the Middle East's native species
Camelpox
Caused by a virus related to the one that causes human smallpox, camelpox typically causes fever, swelling of lymph nodes and skin lesions in camels aged over three, but the animal usually recovers after a month or so. Younger animals may develop a more acute form that causes internal lesions and diarrhoea, and is often fatal, especially when secondary infections result. It is found across the Middle East as well as in parts of Asia, Africa, Russia and India.
Falconpox
Falconpox can cause a variety of types of lesions, which can affect, for example, the eyelids, feet and the areas above and below the beak. It is a problem among captive falcons and is one of many types of avian pox or avipox diseases that together affect dozens of bird species across the world. Among the other forms are pigeonpox, turkeypox, starlingpox and canarypox. Avipox viruses are spread by mosquitoes and direct bird-to-bird contact.
Houbarapox
Houbarapox is, like falconpox, one of the many forms of avipox diseases. It exists in various forms, with a type that causes skin lesions being least likely to result in death. Other forms cause more severe lesions, including internal lesions, and are more likely to kill the bird, often because secondary infections develop. This summer the CVRL reported an outbreak of pox in houbaras after rains in spring led to an increase in mosquito numbers.
