The UAE Ambassador to the US, Yousef Al Otaiba, has visited the injured Emirati soldiers currently receiving medical treatment in the the United States.
The men were injured while serving as part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.
Mr Al Otaiba was briefed on the nature of their injuries and medical treatment being administered, wishing them a speedy recovery and good health. He praised the group’s high morale and strong determination to return to the battlefield. The ambassador spent time speaking with the soldiers, expressing the country’s pride in their efforts, and expressed the UAE leadership’s wishes that they receive the best medical care available.
