ABU DHABI // Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, arrived in the UAE on Thursday for a two-day visit.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received the emir at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi.
They discussed cooperation between the two countries and regional affairs.
The Qatari leader’s visit follows the visits of King Abdullah II of Jordan earlier this week and last week’s visit of Joe Biden, the United States vice president.
Earlier on Thursday, Sheikh Tamim had received messages from Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on expanding relations.
