Fog and mist covered internal and southern areas early on Sunday with cloudy, hazy conditions set to continue for the next two days.
Mist covered Sweihan and Liwa regions on Sunday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, which predicted that the cloud cover will intensify over eastern and southern regions until Tuesday,
Hot and humid conditions will continue through the night and during the early morning across the coast with a possibility of mist in the west on Monday and Tuesday.

The sea will turn rough in the Arabian Sea and moderate in the Oman Sea.
Temperatures will range from 27°C to 47°C in the interior regions, 28°C to 44°C along the coast, and 24°C to 35°C in the mountains.
The maximum humidity will be 60 to 90 per cent across coastal regions, between 50 to 70 per cent in internal areas and 30 to 50 per cent in the mountains.
The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 24.4°C in Damhta on Saturday morning and the highest temperature was 50.4°C in Mezaira.
