ABU DHABI // Strong winds stirred up dust and sand Friday morning, reducing visibility on the roads.
Residents can expect hazy and partly cloudy weather over some areas this weekend, with temperatures cooling down slightly after a scorching week.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said coastal area temperatures will reach a high of between 36°C and 44°C and a low of 26°C to 29°C. Inland, the maximum temperature will be 44°C to 47°C, and the minimum temperature will range from 26°C to 31°C.
The sea will be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea on Friday.
On Saturday, relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning, with a chance of fog, the bureau said.
