Lights around the world were turned off for 60 minutes on Saturday night to mark Earth Hour.
The UAE joined the global movement, now it its 12th year, which aims to inspire people to take action on climate change.
Dozens of events took place across Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah and Sharjah.

• Forget timing the market. Nobody knows where share prices will go next, so don't try to second-guess them.
• Stick with it. Do not sell up in a market crash. Use the opportunity to invest more at the lower price.
