Volunteers from Dubai Cares will refurbish a non-profit school in Umm Al Quwain on Saturday.
They will help to renovate the Umm Al Qura Private School by installing new equipment, repairing and painting columns, putting up soft tiles and donating sports and music items.
The work is part of the charity's Volunteers Emirates 2013, which gives UAE residents the chance to help the community and experience volunteering.
Dubai Cares, launched in 2007, tries to improve children's access to quality primary education in developing countries.
