More than 19,000 pupils across 56 schools took part in the spring tour of the travelling informal science education programme “lema?”

Operated by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) with the support of Mubadala Investment Company, the “lema?” school outreach programme aims to engage students in science, technology and innovation through classroom workshops, stage shows and innovative learning experiences.

The programme delivers interactive extra-curricular activities for students in Grades 3 to 7 with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Stem). It has reached more than 170,000 students in private and public schools and through science-themed events since 2012.

The spring edition of lema? launched in April and reached 19,565 students in less than two months by delivering 416 shows and workshops in Abu Dhabi City, the Al Ain Region and the Al Dhafra Region.

The autumn edition of "lema?" will be held October 1 to November 9. For more information or to make a booking for the 2017—18 academic year, visit the Adec website or call 050 278-6481.
