A book with advice for children from professional race car drivers on how to succeed in motorsport has been issued for the 2018 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Junior Motorsport Book features interviews with international and local racing heroes, including Lewis Hamilton, who explains how he got started with go-karting at the age of six, and Amna Al Qubaisi, the first Emirati female driver to represent the UAE at an International Motorsport event and the first Arab woman to compete in Formula 4.

The bilingual book also explores how to get started in motorsports in the UAE and the history of races at Yas Marina Circuit.
“One of Yas Marina Circuit’s key objectives is to provide young people with a platform to enter motorsport,” said Al Tareq Al Ameri, the chief executive of Yas Marina Circuit. “This starts with helping children make a strong connection with the sport from a young age.
“The features and information in the Junior Motorsport Book will help young people to better understand the sport and to appreciate the story behind the on-track action.”
