Premier League club Arsenal take The National Sport front page on Sunday, April 5 after their 4-1 victory over Liverpool moved them up to second in the table.
A seven-minute first half blitz with goals from Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez did the damage for the hosts.
Jordan Henderson pulled one back from the penalty spot for Liverpool, but after Emre Can saw red for a second bookable offence, Olivier Giroud restored Arsenal’s three-goal lead late in the game.
The result moves Arsenal into second, although fourth-placed Manchester City can return to the position with victory at Crystal Palace on Monday.
For Liverpool, the result is surely the hammer blow to their top-four aspirations, particularly with Manchester United beating Aston Villa later in the day.
