To score 10 goals in a Premier League season is some achievement. To do it for a club like Norwich City with under half the season left to play is even more impressive.
Teemu Pukki, then, is worth his weight in gold to the Canaries. The Finland international scored 29 league goals in 2018/19 as Norwich won the Championship and has already hit double digits in the top flight this term, including a hat-trick against Newcastle United and the winner in a 3-2 upset over Premier League champions Manchester City.
The Norfolk club may prop up the rest of the table as they travel to face Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, but with Pukki in their ranks, there is always a chance of an upset.
You would think, then, that Pukki, the club's biggest goal threat, would be the highest-paid player at Carrow Road.
Well, you would be wrong.
The former Celtic striker, 29, isn't even in the top 10 players on the payroll, according to Spotrac, an online sports team and player contract website
