Liverpool secured a 21st win in 22 Premier League matches with a 2-0 victory over Manchester United as their march to a first English title in 30 years now looks unstoppable.

Their victory was based largely around the brilliance of totemic defender Virgil van Dijk, who opened the scoring on 14 minutes and proved a barrier to which United's attack had no answer how to penetrate.

Sergio Aguero reached a milestone 250 goals with a six-minute double, though Manchester City were frustrated by a dogged Crystal Palace side who snatched a 90th-minute equaliser to earn a 2-2 draw at the Etihad.

Two Wolves players also make it into Richard Jolly's best XI for their heroics in 3-2 win away at Southampton.
