Portugal looking to win the competition for the first time go up against Uruguay in Sochi on Saturday

Cristiano Ronaldo was in relaxed form as Portugal took part in their final training session on Friday before they face Uruguay on Saturday at the World Cup.

The Real Madrid forward smiled and laughed with teammates throughout training as the European champions completed their final preparations for the second-round tie.

Portugal last reached the quarter-finals in 2006 and go up against a Uruguayan side who lost at the last-16 stage four years ago in Brazil.

The game in Sochi kicks off on Saturday at 10pm UAE time.
