Real Madrid have reportedly tied up the futures of four of their leading players, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, and Pepe all set to sign new contracts.
According to radio station Cadena Ser, Ronaldo, 31, will commit to a four-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2020.
Bale, who joined Madrid for a then club record €100 million (Dh404.7m) from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, has agreed a six-year extension that will take the Wales forward to 2022.
Meanwhile, midfielder Modric, who like Bale joined the club from Tottenham, is also set for a new deal, although its length has not been specified.
Defender Pepe, whose current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, will commit to a new deal that will run until 2018.
Madrid’s determination to tie down their most valuable senior players follows a transfer ban imposed on the club by Fifa for breaking rules regarding the signing of underage foreign players.
The reigning Uefa Champions League winners cannot register new players in the next two transfer windows.
Madrid are currently second in the Primera Liga table, behind city rivals Atletico Madrid on goal difference after seven matches.
They travel to Real Betis on Saturday for their next league encounter.
