Paul Pogba has taken the opportunity to see new sights in Dubai while he's on the Manchester United injury list.

The French midfielder, a regular visitor to Dubai, has been in the UAE for more than a week working on his recovery from a foot injury.

And his latest destination has been Bluewaters Island where he recorded a short video for his social media followers.

"Every time I come to Dubai there is something new. Meraas surprise (sic) me. I'm in the amazing Bluewaters Island, thanks for having me Meraas, I will be back soon," he wrote on his Instagram post.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that Pogba will not be involved in the crunch Premier League match against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

“Paul had an injury, he came back, he worked really hard," he said. "He came back and played a couple of games, maybe played through the pain barrier.

“He had a scan after the Arsenal game and maybe needed a few weeks' rest in a boot, so hopefully he won't be too long, but he won't make this game, no.”

Solskjaer is however hopeful that defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and striker Anthony Martial will be fit to face the unbeaten league leaders.

Pogba has appeared in five of United's eight league matches so far this season and has also made one appearance in the League Cup.

He filmed himself on an exercise bike on a Dubai rooftop last week.

"They say hard work pay off what about hard work in the heat ? Let’s see ... loving the view though. Allah always in control," he said, while also referencing the 37 degree temperatures in Dubai on Monday.

He also showed the protective cast on his foot in another video where he worked on the ropes by the beach.
