Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi will be attending the 14th Dubai International Sports Conference on Saturday, joining France’s World Cup-winning manager Didier Deschamps and Wales national team coach Ryan Giggs at the event.
This year's theme is “Future Football Accelerators” and Inzaghi will be alongside Deschamps and Giggs to discuss “Modern Training and Technology” during the final session of the day.
Inzaghi, who spent the majority of his playing career as a striker for Lazio, was in charge of the Rome club's youth team for six years until 2016 before he was promoted to first-team manager.
In his three years in charge, Inazghi has guided Lazio to two fifth-place finishes in Serie A, and while the club dropped to eighth last season, they did win the Coppa Italia - the club's first major trophy in six years.
Most recently, Izaghi guided Lazio to a 3-1 victory over Serie A champions Juventus in the Italian Super Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Also in attendance at the Dubai International Sports Conference will be another famous Italian football manager, Fabio Capello, as well as former Manchester United and Juventus goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and Ferran Soriano, chief executive of Manchester City.
For the first time, there will be an all-ladies session at the conference where Lucy Bronze, Uefa Women's Player of the Year 2019, and France captain Amandine Henry will lead the “Empowering Women in Football” discussion alongside history-making French football referee Stephanie Frappart and Italy captain Sara Gama.
Atletico Madrid midfielder Joao Felix and Serie A stars Romelu Lukaku and Miralem Pjanic, will also be at the conference, sharing their experiences in a session titled, “Football – Changing Futures”, which will be moderated by former France defender Mikael Silvestre.
