Kings of the King's Road: Chelsea fans start wild party in the streets after Champions League victory - in pictures

London streets flooded by Blues supporters after their second Champions League triumph

Chelsea fans wasted no time getting their party started after their team claimed a second Champions League trophy with a 1-0 win against Manchester City in Porto.

Kai Havertz's goal proved decisive and prompted a huge street party around the club's Stamford Bridge stadium on London's King's Road.

It was a dramatic end to the season for the Blues, who were struggling for form and results in December to such an extent that Frank Lampard was sacked and replaced by former Paris Saint Germain boss Thomas Tuchel.

But that episode was a long way from the fans' thoughts as they prepared to celebrate long into the London night.
