Fernando Torres' career in trophies - from Spain's Euro 2008 to Chelsea's 2012 double

Spanish striker Fernando Torres announced the end of his 18-year football career on Friday.

After two spells at boyhood club Atletico Madrid, time in the Premier League with Liverpool and Chelsea, a loan stint at Italian side AC Milan, and a final season in Japan with Sagan Tosu - as well as a remarkably successful international career with Spain - Torres retires having won a host of major trophies.

Starting from the 2008 European Championships and concluding with Atletico's Europa League trophy in 2018, Torres won seven major trophies during his career. Take a look at Torres' trophy haul in the photo gallery above.
