Cristiano Ronaldo was on target in his first playing appearance since joining Juventus as the Serie A champions defeated their B side 5-0 in their traditional pre-season friendly in Villar Perosa.
The town 50 kilometres southwest of Turin and at the foot of the Italian Alps, had been swamped with Juventus supporters all weekend, desperate to try and catch a glimpse of their new hero, who joined from Real Madrid in July.
The approximately 5,000 tickets available at the tiny Gaetano Scirea ground were sold out and the fans in the stadium were not disappointed as he struck after only eight minutes.
An own goal doubled the Juventus lead, before Paulo Dybala's double and an Claudio Marchissio effort completed the one-sided win.
Ronaldo will make his Serie A debut on Saturday when Juventus begin their title defence at Chievo.
