But there was no sign of he or his Portugal teammates relaxing as they took part in a training session on Friday at their Kratovo training camp in Ramensky, in the Moscow region.
Portugal only need to draw with Iran on Monday to be sure of a spot in the last 16, with a victory likely to be needed if they are to top Group B at the expense of Spain.
