Saturday

Watford 1 Everton 0

Why? This would be a bit of an upset but Watford have the goal threat to cause Everton some problems. The visitors aren't playing well at all at the moment, despite getting a point with a late equaliser against Manchester United last week. Watford's big centre-backs should be able to handle Romelu Lukaku, or at least keep him relatively quiet.

Arsenal 3 Stoke City 1

Why? With Alexis Sanchez in such sensational form, Arsenal are going to keep rolling. Stoke have a decent defence, but few sides have been able to keep the Chilean in check this season. Don't be surprised if he scores at least twice.

Burnley 1 Bournemouth 2

Why? Buoyed by their astonishing comeback against Liverpool last week, Bournemouth can put together back-to-back wins when they visit Turf Moor. They've just got a bit more attacking threat and will looking to emulate their performance in the 1-0 win at Stoke three games ago, that could have been 4-0.

Hull 2 Palace 1

Why? Don't be fooled by thinking that Palace's 3-0 win over Southampton was them "turning a corner". Alan Pardew's side still have major issues defensively and, if Hull can put in a good display at the back themselves, they will see this as a huge chance to get three points.

Swansea 2 Sunderland 1

Why? Swansea need a morale boost after their 5-0 mauling at the hands of Spurs last week and they have a huge chance to get it here. Manage Bob Bradley will likely play one of his tall Spanish strikers – Fernando Llorente or Borja Boston – and they will bully the Sunderland defence.

Leicester City 0 Manchester City 3

Why? Even without star striker Sergio Aguero, form suggests Manchester City will take this one. Leicester aren't doing much right at the moment and their 5-0 thrashing by Porto in the Champions League won't have done them any good. There is too much class in City's side.

Sunday

Chelsea 2 West Brom 0

Why? As well as West Brom are playing, this will be a simple win for Chelsea. A goal before half time and the points wrapped up with 10 minutes to go is how this will likely pan out. It's all about when Chelsea break through West Brom's defence. Tony Pulis's game plan will be to sit back, soak up pressure and frustrate, but Chelsea's attacking players are all in top form. They will score.

Manchester United 1 Tottenham 1

Why? A 1-1 draw is the trendy scoreline at Old Trafford. United will probably play well enough to win, but manage somehow to throw away three points. Tottenham, with Toby Alderweireld back in defence, will be a formidable opponent. This should be a great game to watch.

Southampton 1 Middlesbrough 0

Why? Middlesbrough got three points at home to Hull City on Monday night but it highlighted one of their issues. They aren't efficient enough in front of goal. Southampton will take the chance to get back on track after a really poor display in the defeat at Palace.

Liverpool 3 West Ham 2

Why? The incredible Bournemouth 4 Liverpool 3 match last week was Jurgen Klopp's team in a nutshell. Great going forward, suspect at the back and almost always involved in a great game to watch. Sunday will be no different.
