Tuchel's side outclass woeful Foxes on way to 3-0 victory at King Power Stadium

LEICESTER CITY RATINGS: Kasper Schmeichel – 5: Saved from former teammate Kante in first half but also lucky to not be punished for awful pass out from back. Excellent low stop from Chilwell strike just after break. Badly exposed by gaping holes in defence. Booked for dissent. AFP

Marc Albrighton - 4: Caught out by quick free-kick early on and relieved to see Chilwell miss chance. Closest man to Rudiger for first goal as zonal-marking failed miserably. Left on backside by Hudson-Odoi’s skills in second half. Getty

Caglar Soyuncu - 4: Up against it from start as Chelsea’s pace and passing ripped Leicester’s back four to shreds. Beaten by substitute Ziyech ahead of third goal. AP

Jonny Evans – 3: Defensive mistake ended up with Chelsea winning corner ahead of opening goal, should have closed down Kante for second and booked for wiping out Havertz to complete disastrous first half. AP

Timothy Castagne – 4: Didn’t push on at all down left when Leicester were crying out for width. Although, in his defence, was more concerned with wave after wave of Chelsea attacks. Getty

Daniel Amartey – 4: Obvious foul on Hudson-Odoi handed free-kick on edge of box that Mount wasted, then rightly booked for late challenge on Hudson-Odoi. Had powerful strike in second half turned over bar by Mendy. PA

Wilfred Ndidi – 5: Chasing Chelsea shadows for most of match, particularly in first half and end of second. Was slightly better after break as Foxes finally put visitors under a semblance of pressure for a spell. Reuters

Boubakary Soumare – 5: Like Ndidi, midfielder failed to offer defence any protection as Chelsea ran riot. Home side certainly missed Youri Tielemans in middle of park here. Getty

Ademola Lookman – 4: Put ball into net after 25 minutes but caught offside. Taken off at half-time as Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers shook team up after desperate opening 45 minutes from his team. PA

Jamie Vardy – 5: Broke away down left only for Rudiger to hook away low cross heading for Lookman – and that was as good as it got in first half. Headed chance over bar when well- placed after break on a frustrating day for striker. EPA

Harvey Barnes – 3: Missing in action for entire opening 45 minutes and can have no complaints at half-time hook. AP

SUBS: James Maddison – (On for Barnes 46’) 6: Had Leicester’s first shots at goal at start of second half – one not troubling Mendy, the other easily saved. Another deflected strike saved by French keeper. PA

Kelechi Iheanacho – (On for Lookman 46’) 3: Failed to make any impact. Reuters

CHELSEA RATINGS: Edouard Mendy – 7: Easy first half for French goalkeeper as Leicester failed to register shot at goal. Decent saves after break from Amarty and Maddison. Unlikely booking for time wasting with team in complete control. AFP

Trevoh Chalobah - 8: Strolled through game against a poor home attack. Beautiful ball to pick out Chilwell in box on the hour and his perfectly-weighted pass put Ziyech away ahead of third goal. AP

Thiago Silva - 9: Any concerns about Brazilian’s lack of pace against Vardy proved unfounded as he kept striker’s influence to bare minimum. Veteran defender's positioning was immaculate and passing skills from back immense. Man of the match. Reuters

Anthony Rudiger – 8: Vital clearance in six-yard box from Vardy cross with Lookman poised to tap home in opening 10 minutes. Lovely glancing header to put team into lead from corner. AP

Reece James – 9: In great form at the moment and his excellent work down right set-up Kante for Chelsea’s second. Denied goal himself by offside call against Chilwell earlier in move. PA

N’Golo Kante – 9: Former Leicester favourite almost scored in first half when through on goal but Schmeichel saved with his boot – but then then did make it 2-0 with fine left-footed finish. Superb, as usual. Getty

Jorginho – 9: Brilliant quick free-kick to set up Chilwell’s early chance and another fine ball over top put through Kante only for Schmeichel to save. Ran the show but seemed to pick up muscle injury late on that will be concern for Chelsea. Getty

Ben Chilwell – 8: Former Fox, given a hostile reception from home fans, should have opened scoring in first few minutes but shot against top of bar. His corner set-up picked out Rudiger for opening goal. Denied deserved goal of his own by fine Schmeichel save after break. Reuters

Mason Mount – 7: Back from dental surgery and was constant pain to Leicester with his movement between the lines. Not quite in top gear but still flashes of quality. Reuters

Callum Hudson-Odoi – 8: At heart of Chelsea’s dominance, running at the opposition defence at will. Teed-up chance for Chilwell at start of second half, then skinned Albrighton before firing over bar. AFP

Kai Havertz – 7: Attempted bicycle kick just before break only succeeded in taking out the on-rushing Kante looking for his second goal. Brilliant turn and surging run towards box ended by Evans foul. Never really looked like he would score in the game, though, which will have frustrated the German. AFP

SUBS: Christian Pulisic – (On for Havertz 62’) 8: Turned shot just wide after being set-up by fellow sub Ziyech. Same combination resulted in American making it 3-0 from close range. Denied another by offside call. Getty

Chelsea flashed their Premier League title credentials with a superb 3-0 victory away to Leicester City on Saturday.

Thomas Tuchel's team dominated the game from start to finish with the scoreline flattering the home side who never really challenged the reigning champions of Europe.

Defender Antonio Rudiger opened the scoring with a glancing header from a corner whipped in by former-Leicester wing-back Ben Chilwell after 14 minutes.

N'Golo Kante, another former Fox, made it two 14 minutes later when he was allowed time and space to fire home an excellent left-footed finish.

Leicester failed to even register a shot at goal in the first half but at least forced Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy into making a couple of saves after the break.

Chelsea, though, were dominant again with Hudson-Odoi, Reece James and Christian Pulisic all denied goals by the linesman's flag.

Pulisic did make it three from fellow substitute Hakim Ziyech's cross after 71 minutes. The result leaves Chelsea six points clear at the top of the table before the later games on Saturday.
