PSL 2018: Players to watch in action across UAE and Pakistan

Here is what you need to know about the key players of the six franchises in the upcoming third season of the annual Twenty20 competition

With just two days to go before the third season of the annual Pakistan Super League Twenty20 competition gets under way on Thursday, Paul Radley puts together his list of the players to watch, which you can look at by swiping the photo gallery left/right on your browser.

It is worth noting that two of the three Pakistan players who make the cut are still emerging talents whose best days are ahead of them, the other player being the established Wahab Riaz. You will find the usual star attractions, such as Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik, are missing from this list.

You can read Radley's views on why he has predicted big things to come from these players, but enough to say Pakistan supporters will hope for them to succeed over the coming weeks and months.
